Laguna Concert Band records at famed Capitol Records

On Saturday, August 1, 2015 the Laguna Concert Band traveled to Hollywood to record two film scores by composer Alexander Burke at Capitol Studios. Alexander is the son of LCAD president Jonathan Burke. The two animated short films created by Laguna College of Art + Design’s (LCAD) summer Animation Master Class 2015, were directed by David Kuhn .

The sound scores for Un Garçon et Sa Bete (“A Boy and his Beast”), under the supervision of Stephen Chiodo, and The Big Dad Wolf, supervised by veteran Disney animator James Lopez were recorded in Studio A at Capitol Studios, a world famous recording studio located in the Capitol Records Tower in Hollywood, CA.
